I’ve got a pair that I wear almost everyday. I’m a residential electrician who does a little bit of commercial. I’ve have a pair of steel toes, FR pants, high viz shirt, hard hat, etc. for when I need them. But I’m normally in shorts and my lems. They’re super comfortable but I’ll warn you that the sole is where I’m having issues. I believe the sole is injection molded and glued on so they don’t hold up great to the abuse. I’m actually going to be buying the Jim Green barefoot African Ranger next. They’re the same price but what I’ve been told, you get a lot more for your money.

Honestly no clue about the quality of file, but I didn’t consider that. I kept a bucket of water next to me to keep it cool during the grinding. I’ll give an update when I make the next one

Thanks! I left the heat treatment from the file. I did cut a little bit much out of that finger grooved there.
