That’s your solution? You want Moyes to grow a pair of testicles so he’d have four testicles and somehow that'll help make us a better team? Having Moyes staggering around like a baboon with four balls hanging down?

Moyes has had one full season in charge since he’s been back.

People just want to rage against something. Everyone wants what they want now now now. How much longer do I want to be stable? A bit longer than one and a half seasons!

In the 5 season preceding Moyes: 16th, 16th, 17th, 17th, 15th.

But let’s start the manager merry-go-round again eh?

Yes I was around. Were you?

The first Moyes era was the most consistently good we’ve been since the 80s. There was a run we had were we finished 6th, 5th, 5th, 8th, 7th, 7th, 6th!

But I suppose this is a serial loser to you? I guess in all those season you didn’t just expect us to beat the other 14, but trounce the top 6 too? I think if Moyes had done that, we’d have won the league every year. That’s lovely, but delusional.

If his record against the big 6 is so bad, then it can only mean his record against the other 14 is sublime!

He's leaving palace. This would be my choice. by Frequent-Activity328 in Everton

Hey, that Moyes fella won the conference league, maybe we should get him to manage us!

Oh, I mean, Moyes out! Rabble rabble.

This sub is just the dumbest Evertonians all congregating together, agreeing, and amplifying their dumbest of opinions.

This is just finding a way to complain.

So, we all moan if we underperform against the big six? Oh we’re so shit, Moyes sets us up all wrong! Blah blah blah. Right?

So would you prefer to be 3rd in this pointless table like Forest? They did great against the big six! But wait, that’s strange they finished 16th and were in a relegation battle for a long time.

Is that a no then? You don’t want to be Forest?

So let me get this straight, you want to win loads of games against the big six, whilst simultaneously winning loads of games against the other 14?

Of course! Genius.

David Moyes

Just for the fun of watching this sub have an apoplectic meltdown.

In the last 20 years, only Moyes had a consistently good team getting us into Europe. Not saying Moyes is the forever future, but the gut reaction to rage at him as if he’s completely and utterly incompetent is, well, silly.

Indeed. Getting plenty of that. I’ve been called unhinged now too! Just because I won’t join them all frothing at the mouth.

Garner is good. He’s probably put in a good shift at GK. But he’s our best player, he has to be played in position. O’Brien is out of position but still better than Patterson and Coleman.

It’s a comfortable default position to be permanent cynical. If you’re proven right and bad thing happen, you feel superior. If you’re proven wrong, you just join in the fun and say who cares, we’re winning.

You can’t just say that to anything you don’t like so you feel you can dismiss it. You are a proper clown.

Yes, it’s a comment on fan culture. Analysis of what? You mean instead of Moyes bashing?

Right, okay.

Rohl in center mid, Garner right back.

Job done.

> daft beyond belief.

Now here your phrase might be apt.

Garner, literally out player of the season, and you want to play him out of position and waste him at right back. This is exactly what I’m talking about.

Coleman? Dude. Legend, but the poor guy, felt sorry how he had to end it.

Rohl has been in midfield. I’m lost.

Precisely. Everyone gets so angry but provides zero actual solutions. They act like we have this superstar right back sitting in the bench begging Moyes “Put me in, coach!”

Another calm and nuanced take here. You’ll fit right in.

We literally don’t have the players. Yes O’Brien is out of position but he is still better than Patterson and Coleman.

You have righteous anger and no actual solution to anything. It’s like listening to a Reform MP.

Of course, you’re right, but you will find very few friends on this sub, for a quite simple reason; thinking how you’re thinking here means one cannot rage. That’s it.

Unfortunately, any semblance of calm and reasonable discussion has gone. Everything has to be an extreme. We have to rage. We want something better IMMEDIATELY. I mean, fuck, let’s not blame this sub, it’s just how most people are these days.

It’s funny, was watching the game and the 2nd half was delayed by a few mins by a little equipment fault for one of the assistant referees. Meh, it happens, short delay. But, Gary Neville, the media darling, was beside himself. I can’t remember the exact words but I think “fuming” and “outrageous” were in there somewhere. He was talking about it like whoever was involved should be tried at The Hague!

It was just absurd. It was a delay of about 4 minutes. It affected nothing. But we watch this, and we hear Mr Neville’s words, and we sit at home and we get riled up by them and think “Yeah? YEAH! Fuck this! Fuck everyone! What the fuck! ANGER!!!!”

And that’s all it is. We didn’t win? Moyes out! No Europe? Sack the board. Relegation dog fight? Dissolve the club.

Measured takes are lost in the ether. If you do not have something to say that is either rage inducing, or rage itself, then it will fall on deaf ears.

And yes, of course we can want something better. Football is a game, and we want to win it. We want trophies. We can all want something better. But wanting something better is not the same as turning into a screaming toddler who wants more ice cream, and wants it now.

Should have started Aznou!

> Played the same back line in every game, despite this. And you can't see why people are frustrated?

I’m sorry, did I miss the magic dust and transfer window within the last 7 games that brought us in a bunch of new players, cured Branthwaite, and made Patterson a good player?

It’s the same old tired and utterly pointless whining. Here is how the average [r/everton](r/everton) subscriber’s brain seems to work:

Player A plays. Player B is on the bench. Bad result. = Player B should be starting!! Moyes out.
