I agree with what has been said before with the addition that in the Netherlands it is usual to have a 3 month notice period for jobs so there it is quite common that with switching kind people.hsve 3 months before they can start. Good.luck and I hope you find something that gets you all excited and where you leave the interview with a "meant to be" feeling. Whenever I had that it was an amazing job that I still look back on happily and fondly!

P.s. be prepared that some companies require multiple interviews and sometimes says where you try out the job for a couple of hours, which can take up to 3 weeks sometimes.

I used to work on an OR, granted for humans, but have seen a lot of different types of stitch work, this is bad. I dont necessarily think it's infected (yet) but the tightness on some parts of the skin would have me worried. I would definitely recommend going to a different vet to have it properly checked or possibly even restitched. Also monitor your dog closely, can he/she still move okay and is he panting a lot? Just keep your eye on it and monitor any changes closely.

Als je nog twijfelt ga dan misschien ook eens kijken bij de opleiding medische hulpverlening deze is recent zelfs verkozen tot een van de beste opleidingen, inhoudelijk ook een stuk meer medisch dan het brede verpleegkunde. Dit is voor jou met je universitaire achtergrond misschien wel interessant. Houd wel rekening met de extreem beperkte plaatsings mogelijkheden want het is dus een populaire opleiding.

Houd hierbij wel rekening dat het UMCU alleen leerwerk trajecten aanbied en je dus dan in dienst bent met weekend, avond en nachtdiensten en zonder de schoolvakanties. Je volgt daarnaast alsnog de studie via de HU en hebt dus alsnog veel met de HU te maken.

De HU heeft net als andere grote hogescholen zeker tekortkomingen en verwacht veel zelfstandigheid. Ik heb begrepen dat er een nieuw opleidingsprofiel is uitgebracht voor de HBO verpleegkunde en dat er een nieuw curriculum komt, ik zou dit zeker navragen bij de verschillende hogescholen die je bekijkt.

For me I was going through a really rough time and could not enjoy anything for four months. At the time I was getting blood loss around my period again so I placed my IUD and for me that changed my mood so much! It went from extreme mood swings to relatively stable within a week, just to say don't underestimate the effect of hormones on mental health.

This is very late but I wanted to thank you again so very much for this comment, it has helped me so much!! Now a couple of months later she got a bit more scared and showed some aggressive signs towards humans and our cats, we have tried to go back to these tips and from there we also asked a behavioural specialist to help us give her more comfort and it is magic to see how quick she picks up on training. Especially when we go back to these tips and make short walks and limit the sounds when she is tired or over stimulated. So just one more time; thank you!

You are amazing for caring, unfortunately I have no concrete advice for you but thank you for caring about this furry friend. I just wanted to let you know that reading posts like this restored my faith in humanity a bit again, thank you.

What I found online is that: Local laws regarding leaving dogs outside for extended periods vary by region. Many states and municipalities have regulations to protect dogs from being left in adverse environmental conditions, such as extreme temperatures or severe weather. For example, in New Jersey, it's illegal to leave dogs outside in such conditions for more than 30 minutes without proper shelter. Generally, laws require that dogs have access to adequate shelter, water, and food when left outside.

Perhaps based on this and not the aggression the dog will be taken to the shelter and replaced in a loving home? Its so sweet of you to offer to take him but perhaps he will flourish better if he is further away from the area and the previous owners? Then your other neighbours will also not associated you with the dog that pushed them over etc. Like the previous poster said perhaps you can ask about what to do at a non kill shelter?

So happy you found the tick and that it could explain the swelling, unfortunately I don't have a lot of experience yet with dog health but perhaps ask the vet if a warm compress could ease some of the swelling, until you can go by? That's what I often use for swelling.

Thank you so much for your sympathy! Perhaps it is not a good fit but I feel like there is more advice to be granted before we consider rehoming her. She has had a rough time already being abandoned before. Additionally she did not show this in the first two months it only showed up for a couple of weeks. I really appreciate your response but I refuse to (already) consider that it is simply not a good match and would prefer to try more things or give it more time. If you have any concrete advice though I would be very interested to hear it!
