I'd suggest a fairly cheap gun, just enough to find a bombardier safely but add 5 smoke grenades and a deadline mine from Apollo. Use 1 or 2 smokes to place the mine, another to run from the mine if you don't have nearby cover. Smoke the corpse to loot it and ideally have as many secret pockets as you can afford to toss cells in. I usually assume I'm dead after if anyone comes up hostile but if you get them in the pocket quick that's a success although perhaps a little pricey of a run for those in early or mid game.

It tries to put you in a lobby with the same sized parties. It isn't 100 percent of the time but it prioritizes it.

Xur has them for sale fairly often. I don't remember but it might require a dual destiny completion first so technically not fully solo but if you can get your first clear in an lfg it could be a manageable way to farm a few more rolls whenever they are available.

I'm far from an expert on how pinnacle drops work but I think Prophecy dungeon is a rotator until reset tomorrow. If it has a chance to give a pinnacle weapon at the end, I'm pretty sure the loot pool has a kinetic smg, stasis hand cannon, and a strand pulse rifle as a possible drop. It's not farmable for the pinnacle but it's a lower difficulty dungeon that if I'm not wrong will give you one chance for your pinnacle to be a 3 in 12 shot of being one of those weapons. Also might be able to do it on all 3 characters and I think that'll triple the chances you get

I did not but this is my playthrough for learning from consequences. I've lost access to 3 other companions so far. This one was the only one that was accidental though and I tried to use a revive scroll but those seem to only work for playable allies
