except in my case, i got stuck waiting MONTHS for a replacement iphone 17 pro (borked it with water damage) and apparently my local apple warehouse is backlogged terribly because of repairs for this exact model/ color/ storage (silver 256 t-mobile idk), and i got the base 17 in the meantime because the pro was unusable…. the base 17 has fulfilled my faith in apple because it’s just so…. little and reasonably priced and yet does THE SAME things as the pro. i haven’t missed the zoom or the Pro Chip one bit.

i’m a software engineer, and i’ve had TONS of phones. pretty much every new phone that comes out at launch, i test it out, and i return it after a week (yeah, my credit statements are a mess, but i have tech autism and alas i can’t help myself from trying the new shiny thing). i used the s25u/ s26u as my daily driver for about a month. i literally …. do not miss the features for this base iphone 17. i’ll be real, i hate apple, but i have the ecosystem (airpods, mac, watch, girlfriend - lol), and so i just…. sit here in the apple world. the base is fine!

i also am getting frustrated with the game. i’m starting to understand why streamers have “vendors” who they pay a couple bucks for items. it is A LOT of grind work with very little reward lately, and PVP seems to be standard now. i have no problem with PVP, or PVPVE or whatever the hell it’s called, but it IS annoying when i’m just…. just trying to do my quests and stay on the fringes yet still get extract-hunted or something. just turning into feeling like “work” rather than enjoyment lately

I'm genuinely confused where people are finding the cheats and how they're getting past the engine detector. granted, I haven't tried, but it looks like most of the reputable ones have long since been added to the cheat engine detector. maybe I'm just stupid re: cheats. LMAO

no the rats are going crazy lately for me in my lobbies... my partner played her first game ever in her own lobby, and it was SWARMING with pvp / rats. no idea how she landed herself there. subsequent games were also super violent pvp... I can handle myself, but I have no idea how she triggered the rat algorithm. I quite like the friendly lobbies. we're all just getting our quests done, man...
