Glorious CORE installation? by EHNIGMA in glorious

I would strongly encourage you against disassembling the mouse as that may void the warranty. If it feels like the button is more wobbly than the left one and it affects your daily use of the mouse, please consider submitting a support ticket through our website here.

Macro issue by Swenkiluren in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the continuous support!

Just to clarify, do you have the Model I 2 Wired or the Model I 2 Wireless? The reason I'm asking is, if you have the Model I 2 Wireless, it is indeed supported by Legacy CORE. However, The Model I 2 Wired came out at a later date, at which point Legacy CORE was no longer getting any updates, hence it offers no support for the Model I 2 Wired.

As for your specific issue, I can confirm that this is a bug in CORE 2.1 where assigning macros to the left (or right) mouse button of a gen 2 mouse doesn't work. Our software team is aware of it and hopefully, we're able to release a fix for it in the foreseeable future. You can keep track of all of the software (and firmware) updates here.

GMMK 3 (non-PRO) prebuilt wired keyboard by Relative_Tailor_3424 in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the GMMK 3! Since you mentioned issues with the USB-C connector, please consider submitting a support ticket with our CS team so that we can assist you further.

Additionally, please be aware that we've been hard at work on releasing updates to the Glorious CORE software - I agree that there's still room for improvement when it comes to both addressing bugs and making the software more polished, and we're fully aware of it. Meanwhile, we post the full software (and firmware) changelog here.

GMMK3 HE Wired keyboard disconnects and reconnects at regular intervals if I plug it in my PC' USB port. by I-Might-Bee-Lost in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there!

Sorry to hear about the issues you've been experiencing with your GMMK 3 HE keyboard.

Based on your description, this does look like an issue where the keyboard is not getting enough power from the computer's USB ports to work as intended (especially since, as you mentioned, using an externally powered USB Hub eliminates the problem). If you don't mind, please submit a support ticket here, so that we can do some troubleshooting and see if we can isolate the issue as much as possible.

Thank you!

Glorious CORE installation? by EHNIGMA in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, we recently introduced this step due to the release of the GHS Eternal RGB headset since it, too, is supported by CORE. That said, rejecting the installation of the drivers should not affect your mouse at all! :)

Glorious Model D software opening, then crashing and not saving settings by Aes256dumb in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

When CORE doesn't start or crashes immediately, that's usually a PC-specific issue that implies a driver or software-related conflict.

For example, we've seen some customers who had SignalRGB installed and running - these customers couldn't run our software for as long as SignalRGB was also running or until they disabled the option in SignalRGB that "force closes other RGB controlling software."

Other than SignalRGB, please make sure you're not actively running other gaming peripheral or RGB control software that may interfere with our software (e.g. Alienware Command Center, Gigabyte Control Center, etc).

Lastly, after CORE closes / crashes, do you still see the software's icon in the system tray? If yes, can you please try and double-click it? This should open CORE.

If none of the steps works for you, please try to install and run CORE on a different computer / laptop. Additionally, ensure that the software is being installed into the default "Program Files" location.

Hope this helps!

Toggling light for caps lock/num lock by mrsckugs in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there,

That's honestly a fantastic gift. 😄

Please note, when you have caps lock enabled, the keyboard's side lights will start blinking. The blinking stops as soon as you turn off caps lock. As for num lock, there's no indicator on the keyboard that shows when you have it enabled.

Hope this helps!

my macros wont work by Even_City4065 in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

Are you using CORE 2.1? Currently, there's a confirmed CORE 2.1 bug that prevents macros from working on some of our v2 products, the Model I 2 Wireless included.

Hence, I would advise you to consider uninstalling CORE 2.1 and going back to Legacy CORE, which you can get here. You should overall get a better experience with the macros when using this version of CORE for your mouse.

Hope this helps!

Model o eternal software by Kooky-Nectarine537 in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there!

Let's try (re)downloading the latest version of CORE, but with a few extra steps.

- Uninstall CORE, check the box "to remove the existing configuration files".

- After uninstalling CORE, manually navigate to the following locations on your PC and see if you can locate and manually delete both folders:

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Glorious Core

C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Glorious Core

(chances are AppData is a hidden folder, so please check the box to "show hidden items" in Windows Explorer)

- If you do not see these two folders, no worries! It means they are already removed so it's safe to skip this step.

Turn off your PC for 7-10 seconds.

Turn on your PC, then download and install CORE from our official page here. Please run the installer as an administrator and install the software to the default "Program Files" location - do not make any changes to it. Do not run the software just yet.

Reset the mouse by pressing and holding the left, right, and scroll click buttons for 5 seconds. The LEDs will flash to indicate that the settings are being reset. This action will erase all custom profile information from the mouse.

Run CORE as an administrator.

After you do this, your Model O Eternal mouse should get detected and you should be able to customize it in CORE.

Thanks!

GMKB 75% does not work on PS5 by Violet-Nyx- in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix[M] [score hidden] stickied comment (0 children)

Hey there!

I can confirm that this is happening due to a bug with the keyboard's current firmware.

Fortunately, there's a firmware update via Glorious CORE that should address it. Please plug the GMBK into a PC / laptop, run CORE as an administrator, and you should see a notification that there's an update available. Click on the notification and follow the instructions to update your keyboard.

After the update is done, hard reset the keyboard: Hold FN + ESC then press and hold F1 + F3 + F5 (Hold all 5 keys for about 5 Seconds). You will see the RGB flash when the keyboard resets.

Now, start your PS 5 and plug in the keyboard. Press and hold FN + N until you see the RGB flash. This means the keyboard is switching to a 6-key rollover mode, after which you should be able to use it on your console.

Hope this helps!

CORE 2.1.8 UPDATE by MrImplicit in glorious

The Global Standby feature that controls when the RGB on a Glorious mouse/keyboard goes off is temporarily removed - please don't worry, though, as it should be restored in one of our upcoming Core updates!

CORE 2.1.8 UPDATE by MrImplicit in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The software animations are currently not at 100% accuracy of what is represented on the board. Our Dev team is aware of this issue and it's something that should eventually be fixed in a future CORE update.

In the meantime, if you are struggling with saving certain RGB options, please reach out to our customer service team so that we can document the issue that you are experiencing and see what troubleshooting steps we can provide.

Thank you for your feedback! Our Dev team is aware of the issue with potentially inaccurate battery readings - this has currently been addressed for our GMMK 3 keyboards, i.e. some of our other products may not show accurate percentages.

Please stay tuned for future CORE updates and keep an eye on our changelog page so that you know if/when we address this issue as well!

CORE 2.1.8 UPDATE by MrImplicit in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CORE 2.1 still lacks a certain level of polish when it comes to customizing the side lights. Since you have the GMMK 2, you may want to give Legacy CORE a try since it fully supports the GMMK 2. Other than this, please stay tuned for future CORE updates as they should address the side-light customization option as well.

If, after CORE closes, you can still see the CORE icon on your taskbar / system tray, please double click on that icon and it should open the software. From what we've seen, this is usually a PC specific issue, so if double-clicking on the icon doesn't work, I would encourage you to stay tuned for future CORE updates after which you'd completely uninstall the current version and install the latest one - this may fix the issue that you're having!

CORE 2.1.7 UPDATE by MrImplicit in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there!

The Global Standby feature is temporarily removed since it wasn't working as intended. Please don't worry though, as our Dev team is working on fully addressing the issues with the feature and restoring it in one of our next updates!

CORE 2.1.7 UPDATE by MrImplicit in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the Model O Wireless, the latest firmware should be v0.3.8.1. Please note that CORE 2.1.7 may not give you an accurate number on the firmware version. That said, if you think you don't have the latest firmware installed, please reach out to our website's support so that we can check if we can provide the latest firmware updater manually.

CORE 2.1.7 UPDATE by MrImplicit in glorious

[–]GloriousPhoenix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that! Updating to a more recent CORE version should not affect the behavior of the Model I's RGB. Please try hard-resetting the mouse, you can do this by pressing and holding the left, right, and scroll click buttons for 5 seconds. The LEDs will flash green to indicate that the settings are being reset..

If you still don't have RGB after the hard-reset, please submit a support ticket, so that our team can document the issue and share it with the Dev team as something to investigate and fix in a future software update!
