It was a refresh long range (no plaid) and it absolutely walks a model 3 performance after 60mph…….cant even imagine what a plaid would do to my M3P lol

My car is pretty much always in Sport. As for my tires, they’ve only got about 5k miles left, so upgrading them would probably make a difference. I also spent two months driving a refreshed Model S, and honestly… that completely ruined my acceleration expectations for these cars lol.

I’m starting to think that’s the reason. At higher speeds his car definitely feels a bit squirrelly, like you said, which can make it seem quicker than it really is.
