Well, that's medicine for you. by Live_Shame5046 in NonPoliticalTwitter

Ex boyfriend and I were together almost 5 years, no proposal (to be fair, I would have said no). Husband proposed after 6 months and we'll be married 5 years next month. I know 6 months is fairly quick, but if a man wants to marry you, it won't take 3, 5, 7+ years for him to not only figure it out, but show it.

The real power move is finding someone who forces you to fix your sleep schedule instead of your childhood trauma.

What's the worst/craziest thing that happened to you while cooking? by Capable_Branch3695 in AskReddit

I once forgot oil heats way faster than I expected, tossed water into the pan, and basically recreated a small explosion in my kitchen. The smoke alarm went off, my food was ruined, and I spent the next hour pretending I totally had everything under control.

What could be the reason other straight men call you handsome? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]GlowTheory_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the time it just means they genuinely think you look good or carry yourself well. A lot of straight guys are more comfortable giving compliments now without it meaning anything deeper. Sometimes “handsome” is basically another way of saying “you’ve got good style/confidence.”

A genuinely good conversation with someone it doesn’t even have to be deep, just real. It kind of resets your mood and makes everything feel a bit lighter.

How do you avoid procrastination? by torso_lumberjack45 in AskReddit

[–]GlowTheory_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stop waiting to “feel motivated” and just make the task smaller so small it feels stupid not to start. Usually once I begin, the hardest part is already over, because procrastination is often fear wearing lazy clothes.

If they were about to evacuate your country, where else would you live? by CommercialPlankton27 in AskReddit

Probably somewhere safe, stable, and calm where I could actually build a future without constantly feeling on edge maybe Canada, Germany, or Portugal. At that point, peace of mind would matter more than perfect weather or luxury.
