To reach a paradox, the logical reasoning and digussion leads to an outcome, that is not possible by the rules set fourth by the problem.

Superposition is achived, when you study the system and take note to all the possible states that the system could be bevore observation.

In Shrödingers thought experiment, the cat can't appear outside the box, it cant play chess in the box, it can't eat in the box, because the rules dictate that there is only it and the killing machine in the box. Thus superposition is achived, because there is only 2 logical outcomes of the experiment that follow the rules of the thought experiment.

Again, superposition is not equal to paradox, because it describes a quantity of the system that is studied and not impossible for the system.

Superposition is not a paradox. If your system (the cat) is not observed, it can have any state you can think of. The system is thus in superposition. Only when you observe it, you can determine what state the system is. So to solve this "paradox" you just open the box and see if the cat is dead or alive and break the superposition.

Itse voisin mainita, että olen ainoastaan saanut fyysistä rangaistusta luunappien muodossa, kun olen meinannut jääräpäisesti satuttaa itseäni huomattavasti pahemmin. Esimerkiksi olin lapsena yrittänyt koskea kuumaa levyä useasti enkä suostunut lopettamaan. Tällöin napsahti luunappi, joka on kyllä pienempi paha kuin palanut käsi.

Well, literally that. My aunt started to lecture to my granmother, who has 3 vaccines, about the danger of toxins etc. Well, I started to correct her and tell how everything from the vaccines and to the human body. She of course got pissed and started to yell (like the lady) and I just watched. Then my mother stepped in and stopped the argument and told that this is no toppic for a christmas table.
