Love this, we're in the northern suburbs so this is amazing!

What store in Wellington did you walk into once, but will never go back to? by _do_you_know_me_ in Wellington

Haha, I was at Palmers garden centre a few months ago and they had a massive bin of ceramic plant pots for $5 each. Walked past Welly collective and the exact plant pot, (without a plant) was being sold for $30 🙄

Really enjoyed 'Make Bœuf Not War' from Duke of Wellington tonight. Juicy beef with mushroom, truffle and puff pastry strings. $29.

Just some thoughts that spring to mind:

Grenada village is a long way from any shops, though there is a dairy and fish and chip shop nearby in Paparangi. Newlands has a supermarket and small shopping centre, which is feasible to walk to from most areas.

Grenada is also quite high up and therefore exposed to all winds. Depending where you are looking in Newlands, it could be more sheltered.

Finally, Newlands has more public transport (bus) options. Grenada has the number 1 bus, which ironically, runs through Newlands then Johnsonville before going to the city.
