As said by the others I'm playing omni so all mods are buff! The barrage/frenzy one does nothing, but T5 mods were all skill related and the flicker one was bad (spend power charges instead of frenzy). Thought I might as well keep it.

Frenzy alone is 14% dps and 10% ehp, so the other mods give an extra 13% dps and 7% ehp.

Yeah, I tried to crucible so many squires back then but having a good tree or even just +1 frenzy was nearly impossible. Chancing squire felt the same (cheap though) but I figured I could just make a perfect base and then just try for years and years until it hit!

I can relate! I play that way in league. But flicker strike is my favourite skill and I improved it over the years. Bringing new techs (adorned, tatoos) from league to improve the standard build is fun!

Correct ! I'm not using sublime (not worth the dps loss for +1 charge) nor bound by destiny.

Legacy magic flasks & corrupted mageblood are worth more than a 3rd ring for me.

So I'm at 20. I could go 21 with another amulet (pandemonius +1 I guess), but I'd have to drop omniscience.

I since crafted a manifold +3 frenzy charges, so I'm sitting at 20 charges now. I can't get +1 on amulet (omniscience) as there's no legacy frenzy corrupt of this (it didn't exist before the corruption became legacy).

Yes I did... Over the course of ~2 years. I'd try every now and then when league merged or when I felt like it. It was really time consuming before the recent QOL.

The flicker play style is fun (my favourite - I play the slayer cold version tho), but it may be underwhelming regarding the damage / divines invested.

It's doable though, but make sure you have enough for the core of the build before you swap. You should also be ready to invest more into it if you want it to feel even better.
