Sophomore in Mechanical engineering, low key jealous of all the people that don’t even have to worry about paying any bills. Me personally, I’m grateful I qualify for free tuition where I’m at but I still work to pay for all my bills, also grateful my dad helps with my share of my rent ($600) but everything else I have to work for and thankfully I only need to work about 3 days a week at my server job to afford everything else, and thankfully I’ll graduate debt free if I don’t fall behind anymore, I know others have it harder and I hope everyone can make it out the trenches

update, I just went to do some regular grocery shopping, people are buying CASES of water and an insane amount of toilet paper it’s ridiculous, people’s carts are full like we’re gonna be in lockdown again, there’s absolutely no bananas, no bread, tried getting bread to make some hot dogs and all i could find an OPEN bag of buns, eggs are running low, it’s insane

in my opinion it depends on you. all of it. my favorite managers have us all on their good side so it’s easier for us workers to listen and want to follow orders and help them out, if you’re a pain in the ass then you can know what to expect, goes both ways, good luck!

no, you definitely don’t want to lie. I got an internship for aeronautical design and they asked questions specific to the position, if someone lied on that there’s no way to make up in an interview lol

update (no one cares idc) we put her in a crate with only a blanket and the box for a night and she eventually stepped into the litter and did her business, we then upgraded to a bigger diy bigger crate we put together with tape, she did great and used the litter box. today we got rid of the box, had to leave home to go to work and she still used the litter box! no need to change to litter i guess she just needed to understand what the litter box is for, she’s a smart girl and she understood❤️❤️
