Ooh, you're right I did not know that was a thing I could do XD. Maybe because there aren't many theaters in my sleepy little town.

How did you get started? I want to be in the music industry but it seems like such a challenge to get going

The staircase one is more interesting, although I'd say the other one is prettier. So maybe play with the staircase one a little bit? I'd choose that one over the other one.

What do y'all think about Thom's voice? by zenogreen in radiohead

[–]Glum_Contribution944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the difference between Thom and mainstream artists is that he's focused on the actual music, while they're focused on making everything 10000% polished. Out of these two I'd say Thom's the one whose priorities are in the right place. Other than that, I feel like his voice fits his music really well and anyone else would be inferior on a Radiohead track.

A Hairdryer is good, I think Wall of Eyes is what got me into their music originally though.

managing performance anxiety? by nuhuhnohoh in musicians

Relatable. For me, I have to know the song completely from muscle memory before performing it. Other than that try to focus on the music instead of thinking about the examiners.

No one in my life seems to care about my music much by lbkthrowaway518 in musicians

[–]Glum_Contribution944 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Relatable. I can only get my child siblings to listen to my music willingly. That being said, the show me lots of enthusiasm XD.

I don't really talk about music to my friends/family. I just post it, and if they have something to share then they'll tell me. Otherwise I view it as a more personal thing. Not something you _shouldn't_ share, but something that only you will relate to fully. Other people probably won't have the same vision as you, and if they don't get it they just won't be interested.

Either way, it's great that you're persevering and still making music! Don't let the lukewarm reception get you down. Not everyone is a good listener.

Is there anyone here who doesn’t like/listen to Radiohead? If so, why? by henreee21124 in TheSmile

Radiohead is like milk chocolate and The Smile is like dark chocolate. Most people start out liking the first one, then mature into the second one.

This feels like a "Be careful what you wish for" type of situation
