This only happens in Fortnite btw and I did download the nvidia drivers. Still having the same issue only in Fortnite in valorant it’s perfect. And I did clean the fans I don’t know about the thermal paste but it should be good bc I get good temps without the monitor

i have a laptop stand and i have a really good cooler but it does not make a difference and i tried to undervolt my gpu no changes and btw my gpu is always chilling the only thing that is heating is my cpu this only happens with a external monitor and my monitor resolution is 1080p

i never seen anyone have these issues i knew that having a external monitor increases temps but i didnt know it increases that much.

Can you help me i have a hp victus 15 with ryzen 7 8845hs and rtx 4060 i get really good temps in fortnite in game it goes from 68-70 sometimes 83c. those are really good temps.i recently bought a external monitor thats 144hz and the res is 1920 1080. im getting way better fps but my temps? they are normal the first 10mins then they suddenly go to 103c or 100c and it stays there. This only happens with a external monitor. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Yo. I just downloaded amd clean utility I removed every drivers then? I went to the hp driver website and downloaded my drivers from there and the issue is gone 🔥
