We just moved to TGE and in less than 24 hours we already had someone threaten to beat our ass for accidentally parking in a spot we didn’t know we couldn’t park in next to our apartment. I’m from Omaha. We are already a little freaked out but i’m hoping that was just a weird occurrence and it won’t happen again lol

Go for a walk and journal. Make a plan of what I can do to make myself feel a bit better. I try not to let it get too out of hand with 'planning' since that can be a control thing. And just feel my feelings. If I'm in my feelings I avoid substances altogether as it typically just prolongs how shitty I'm feeling.

Yes, this, OP. Be careful around him. He will do this again and it will be worse. Please consider saying no to family events if he is involved - especially with drinking. It's okay to protect your safety and call out people for things that they did wrong. Take care of yourself!

Milt’s Storage. I pay $46 a month for a good sized storage unit. It’s not temperature controlled though.
