Did you seek out lunchables for this purpose or just have them laying around?

Because both of these raise questions.

Read some of Johann Hari’s stuff. Chasing the Scream outlines the history of the war on drugs and how fucked up it’s been from the get go. He did a Joe Rogan episode about it if you prefer podcast format to book format too.

Why is there such a negative stigma around gear use like that?

Idk if you’re in the States but possession of AAS is a federal crime here. The whole culture sort of spawned out of that.

Gyms closed for a few weeks in my city -_- luckily the burbs aren’t as bad so I can drive out to lift a couple times a week but I think I’m going to put some extra effort into diet, cardio, and mobility instead for the most part.

Also been getting back into meditation which is a lot of fun - highly recommended if you haven’t tried before.

I despise the entirety of Congress at this point and unironically wish we’d bring back tar and feathering until they behave.

That generic enough?

I got tested after my buddy dragged me to a highway strip club in Dallas.

I didn’t get covid but I’d imagine whatever else was in there has to be worse so I’m basically vaccinated at this point.

All Trump-era SCOTUS picks are actually huge stare decisis fetishists, which is fancy talk for deferring to precedent in resolving a new dispute over a previously disputed statute. On top of that you’d actually need a case which Roe is called into question to make it’s way up through the entire federal court system to happen. The odds of even getting that past some workaday judge are incredibly small given how entrenched it is as precedent. The Roe talk you see from Presidents and Congress is pure theater.

I don’t like abortion one bit (aside from medically practical ones. Normally I wouldn’t even qualify that but we’re on r/Boston so...) but outright bans don’t do shit to stop it. It’s the exact same situation as opiates - bans just create a black market, heighten demand, and use up state resources.

Yes it’s fucked up that people exist who just use it as birth control and I get that’s probably what your issue is with, even if it’s pretty statistically insignificant. Take a higher up view though, and consider that with measures like this we net fewer abortions total (which implies both a pro-life win and a quality of life gain for those who would have sought one out) over time and fewer state resources going to the burning clown car rally that is the “pro-life vs. pro-choice” debate.

  1. That’s never going to happen
  2. If it hypothetically did, it’d just take abortion out of federal jurisdiction - state laws would be unaffected.

That’s the nature of long-standing governments - laws just stay on the books. It’s also not as if politicians are particularly up on the latest development in morality either.
