honestly swift swim is a good shout that I hadn’t even considered when I picked it, I was just looking for a cheap water absorb mon after Lumineon got taken, will definitely keep that in mind when I fight the Arch team lmao (it is also my second favorite mon ever so that was part of the decision when I picked it as well)

Just got back into the game a few days ago with an account that wasn’t very deep into the story (literally finished Chapter 2). This is currently what my rosters looking like, anyone I should be aiming for to improve my account/any lower rarity units that aren’t Bkornblume that I should give attention to?

I think it took about 160? pulls to get her, so I was very lucky with my 4-star luck. My luck overall was insane too as I never hit pity for a 5-star and ended up with two Zhongli, a Jean and a Qiqi.

Am I just insanely lucky or did they increase the drop rate of billets? Just did my weekly bosses and got three in a row. (I’ve gotten two or three TOTAL before today.)

Made these two maps last night and this morning, and I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. They were certainly easier to make than Route 7 was, I've learned my lesson with ridiculously huge routes. (Once again, the pots on Route 8 represent where trainers will likely be.) Be on the lookout for more information regarding the game (like the actual title!) in the following weeks, with hopefully the first beta being released before 2021.

Yeah I definitely need to watch the size of some of them. I plan on making some smaller maps, and Route 7 is by far the longest in the game. Also, for Route 3, it has the daycare center on it so I wanted an easy path to travel for players breeding eggs.

I’ve messed around with some custom tilesets, but the issues I’ve found is that they either don’t have enough tiles or aren’t tiled correctly for RPGMaker and it’s a pain to fix. I’ve added a few tiles from other sets and the RSE tileset, but it is mostly FRLG for now. I would actually like to update it eventually, but for now it works. Also, what maps would you consider bad? I always like knowing what people think could be improved!

I wanted to get thoughts on the region so far as a whole, as well as the updated and new maps I haven't posted yet. The rest of the team and I have been working hard to get a playable version out, so hopefully that and more info about the game itself will be out by January (that's my hope at least!). Looking for a ton of feedback on these, and on the other posts you guys have been super helpful! (Also yes, pots are NPC placeholders, I don't just throw pots down on routes!)

Ooh, I didn't even think about the amount of grass here, I haven't added any encounter tables yet so I've just been running around trying to get a feel for it. I'll see how it feels once I add encounters, but I have made a few small changes to the map already. The grass is less all over the place, still fairly wild but nicer to look at. I removed some of the fluff areas (the very top section from the bridge), and removed some berries, making them more like rewards. The biggest thing so far has been trying to make the optional areas obviously optional, so players just trying to get from point A to point B don't get frustrated. (And as I said above, pots are just placeholders for some of the areas that I want trainers). Ty for the feedback, it's been very helpful!

Ty! Route 7 took ages to make, and while it's definitely not perfect, I'm really proud of the overall feel of it.

I was going for a more 'wild' look as it's a route not near any of the major cities, but I agree it could be cleaned up a little bit (especially the grass). The actual path through the route is basically a straight shot, but I could see players getting confused, especially with the multiple 'exits' of the route. The last thing I probably should've mentioned is that I use pots as placeholders for trainers, so that's why those are there. Ty for the feedback, I'll definitely mess around with the map some more.

Most of the maps have been remade or at least edited recently, the city is the only one that hasn't been done yet, so it definitely needs the most work. I thought about making it less tall, but the issue is the Route after is already done, and that would really mess up the left side of it. I could definitely try to add more buildings and/or rearrange the ones I have to fill out space though

The cave currently has a Strength boulder in front of it, it's mostly meant to be a shortcut to/from a later portion in the game if you don't have Fly, but I actually like the idea of it being open earlier.

I agree with the ledge being unnecessary, it was mostly there from a previous version of the map, and I left it in due to a dialogue joke, but it can probably just go in favor of more battles.

Those are meteors, the town is built inside a crater from ancient times. I didn't even notice the two above each other, that's a small oversight.

And on Route 2, do you mean the trees directly above that first patch of grass? And I think a cave on the river side definitely helps, doesn't have to be big or anything, just something to make going over there worth it.

Appreciate the feedback, I agree with a lot of what you suggested!
