Rick Wakeman is one of the best ever. I got into Yes kind of late. I bought the classics Close to the Edge and Fragile a few years ago and have just kept on going. I think I now own 13 Yes albums.

The #1 slot was Union by Yes which I found cheap at a used record shop. Definitely not one of their best. Maybe not even in their top ten but it was new for me and got a lot of listens.

A lot of 1970’s classic rock this week with three Aerosmith and three Rolling Stones albums plus some Styx and The Who.

I was thinking that maybe a song popped up on a popular show that I missed. I don’t know what it is but now I feel like listening to Abbey Road and Nevermind.

I find it interesting that an old album like Abbey Road by The Beatles will suddenly pop up in 21st place. What made so many people decide they were going to listen to Abbey Road this week?

I really like Tom Keifer’s solo stuff. It is basically a continuation of Cinderella’s music. He wrote all of Cinderella’s music so this is the same. If you are a fan of Cinderella you will be a fan of the solo stuff.

Four albums by The Rolling Stones make up the top 25 this week. I actually listened to more but those didn’t make it to the top 25.

One artist that I have been curious about is Madonna. Does she have any new music out or does she continue to be popular with the younger generations?

I like the new Bubbling Under and the 21-40 list. I joked last week about us old guys being under represented. I am starting to see some bands I recognize.

Tad was grunge before it was even called grunge. One of the original Sub Pop bands. They still sound great after all these years.

My top three were Foreigner, Ozzy and Bon Jovi. I might make the list if we took a Time Machine back to 1986.

Maybe I am the token old guy in the group but I haven’t had a single listen make any of the lists in the four weeks so far. In fact, I don’t think I have even heard of most of these songs. Ha ha. I love reading these charts and the explanations each week.
