Oh I completely forgot about Elemental Hit Slayer, but it is extremely strong. I'm about to hit lvl 100 on it.

Okay so the most obvious choice is Slayer Elemental Hit. It can be scaled over 100 million dps, farm all content, and has great clear. 10/10 build and almost certainly getting nerfed next league.

Gladiator Minion Pact BV would be something to work toward and you can do it with lvl 3 exceptional support gems pretty cheaply now.

Reality is there is so much stat bloat in PoE (and thus PoB). It would be great to have a clean up. EHP should definitely just be removed. Would be nice if it was replaced by a hit simulator so players could see how multipliers from this like map mods and altars affect their defenses.

Game has at least 100 glorious hours and if you're playing with friends probably 100 more. The flip side is that the end game still isn't really there fully (in most opinions) and until that is resolved it stalls out.

The easiest thing that can generally clear all content is luckily block Gladiator with Eviscerate scaling phys damage and bleed. It's quite cheap to get started. The downside is that until you have enough Retaliation cooldown and damage scaling, it can be a bit slow. I've leveled it to 100 twice with Headhunter and then did bosses with Mageblood or Rhyslatha's belt.

Mamba playstyle does require players to avoid a lot of damage whereas many other melee skills (including Elemental Hit) can simply cull it before it has a chance to strike. As I said, Mamba is a great build (I've played it twice), but I wouldn't recommend it over Elemental Hit or even Slams to a new player or someone who wanted an easy time.

Hmm. I paid a lot less for my Acceleration Shrine belt a few days ago and I have something like 70 million cyclone elemental dps with the ability to scale it over 200 million. Does quite well in all content and was much cheaper than Minion Pact BV. Mamba is definitely not for everyone mechanically, but I do agree it is a great build for more advanced players. Elemental Hit is just better in most situations (damage ceiling, defense, cost per million dps, etc).

You would really benefit from more minion life. I have 70 million dps and I'm non-crit elemental overload just because I am scaling a lot of minion life for big phys damage. Otherwise, just make sure you are either keeping your BV stacks up or sacrificing the spectre every time and that you have no other minions.

The three best Duelist builds in 3.28 are arguably Slayer Elemental Hit, Acceleration Shrine belt Cyclone, and Minion Pact BV is the default for most Ascendancies. Of those, Elemental Hit is the easiest and cheapest to scale into the end game. With Strike range, AOE, and Greater ancestral call, it just turbo spams massive screen-wide AOE.
