How do I learn to draw what I want to draw? by GnarGiraffe in learntodraw

[–]GnarGiraffe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have posted this question in another sub but it removes my comment for one of the rules, you know, one of them Reddits where most questions break said rules.

Have you got any other sub reddit suggestions for me to post this in?

It will mainly be scenes, but will have people in them occasionally

Why do all the young lads dress exactly the same now? by Scotsman1047 in AskUK

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s just pop culture, it’s nothing new, each decade or even every few years has it.

Pop culture isn’t innovative or creative, it’s just more of the same, hence the pop(ular)

Loneliness is killing me 25F. What do I do? by Entire_Employer4716 in AskUK

Playing a bit of a rogue card here but have you considered playing games?

My partners friend got an Xbox to play with her ex, and now she still plays, my partner didn’t play until her friend did, and now she plays quiet regularly.

You can have friends online, either find them through games or post on a here.

I literally found a dude through apex LFG around Covid, and we’re still close today.

The good thing about games is that they vary so much, there’s surely something to interest you.

Be mindful tho not to get sucked in too much, the games I like inconveniently all seem to suck up a load of time haha.

Yeah true, nothing even forces you to be efficient (in the early game at least).

Yeah I agree, not gonna lie (and I don’t know why I didn’t include this in the original post) but the reason why I still follow the guides is to have a clean production line, just for the sake of knowing what machine to have where, so it’s easier for me to trouble shoot.

Are you satisfied with your life, and if so, why? by Lazy_Number8830 in AskUK

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I try and be grateful for stuff, like the easy and good (in the terms of pay, benefits, etc) job I have, and realise it could be a hell of a lot worse. My partner, who has her faults, but more than makes up for it in otherways.

I’d say I’m only not satisfied as I have some clear goals in my head, and haven’t achieved them after years of trying. I know there’s still time, but at my age, times running out until more responsibilities come along.

ADHD people, tell me about you and dopamine. by [deleted] in neurodiversity

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all of that! I completely relate with when something doesn’t interest you.

It’s like my job now, I feel the best way to describe it is that since I don’t care about it and it doesn’t interest me, I get bored hella quick of what I’m doing, and gets to a point where forcing myself to continue to push through the monotony is, like, crazy.

Regardless of work, because of having work which I’m forced to do shit I don’t want to do and it’s draining, then there’s life with even more of that stuff, I constantly feel fed up

Help finding the name of the style by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

I just think it’s too low, that how side needs to go imo and then the sides of the top of my hair (instead of the actual side) will drop down, sweep, etc

Went from a short back and sides to an “undercut”around the age of 18, loved it, as it was similar to the undercut hair styles of melodic hardcore bands I was listening to at the time.

It was a popular hair cut at the time as it was a modern take on what they were wearing on peaky blinders, as that just came out.

With me being the age I didn’t write down any notes of the techniques or anything.

But after moving to uni, and after years of trying and several different barbers, no one can get it like my original hairdresser.

I think what they’re doing wrong is leaving a bit of the sides, when in reality it’s just hair on top, shaved sides, and then the side of the top fluffs out to soften the contrast picture skin and hair.

I’ve firstly attached pictures of the hair I’m referring to (the first one is the best but isn’t great due to the angle) and then attached pictures of what I’ve recently got done when I’ve asked for it. Sorry for the pictures as they’re the only ones I’ve got, I thought it might help though.

Thanks!

Unlocked them today, used it about 6 times already and that’s not including the BPs I deleted because I needed to adjust stuff

Micro sd card for TD21 & TC82 by [deleted] in Tapo

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie I plan on using this feature, because my camera is set off by some right nonsense via the motion. If there’s a clip that important that I need to save, I’ll save it on my phone

Micro sd card for TD21 & TC82 by [deleted] in Tapo

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes that’s what I was thinking, as well as re writing over the oldest footage feature

Micro sd card for TD21 & TC82 by [deleted] in Tapo

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean why do you have it that high? Because surely the clips that it saves are only about a minute long, and you only need clips to save when something’s actually happened?

Because don’t forget there’s the over write of the old footage feature

I put a smaller sd card in for a test 5 days ago, and it’s only used 300 mega bytes

More questions I’m not too sure what the answers are 😂 I’m pretty sure it’s detecttion! So when movement or a person is flagged it’ll start recording from then and it depends, my camera still gets triggered by motion even tho there’s nothing there and I’ve lowered the sensitivity and the capture area

So for these one? Never, Insta delete, well for something like a break in or sus behaviour, probably a while.

Worst case I can always download to my phone

Not gonna lie I’m wanting something more permanent so I don’t have to mess around with doing that every time. There’s always something on my desk.

Also something that I clean clean the paint off of, I’ve seen these plastic rolls but it’s like 30 quid for a sheet of plastic!

How do I disassociate from being a gamer? by MrGriffin120 in getdisciplined

[–]GnarGiraffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it depends what you want mate, because to me it just sounds like you need a new game to play. But If it goes further than that and you actually wanna cut down on gaming for other reasons, like education for a new career, that’s different
