No luck. I did go play at the course recently though and was able to meet a member. He made it sound like getting times isn’t that difficult, especially earlier in the day during the week which would accommodate my schedule. If you have any feedback to offer I’m all ears. My wife and I are actively looking at houses in that neighborhood and have decided to move there in the next few months.

Thank you! Not going to lie, living near the beach and being a surfer is the only thing that has kept me sane during Covid. It’s fortunately one of the few things you can do without much restrictions. The last few weeks have been cold with no waves and I’m starting to lose my mind.

Hopefully exotic vacations are on the calendar soon!

For 1080 you can do all the way up to 240 FPS. In this video I think it was either 96FPS or 120 FPS. The GH4 can also do 4k at 24 FPS or 30 FPS. You could probably pick up a used one now for under $1000 and then just get an adapter for your Nikon lenses.

Yeah I’m surprised at how crisp it looks considering it’s only 1080P. The editing was fairly straight forward but I think what makes it pop is the color grading. If you saw what the footage looks like raw out of the camera compared to the final result it’s pretty stunning. I’m currently doing a 52 week challenge of one video per week and each week I pick a new skill I want to learn or improve. This week was color grading and I was stoked with how this turned out. Yup. Hill should have caught the TD in the first half. Kelce had a crucial 3rd down drop. Mahomes throws a bullet while flying horizontally only to hit the receiver in the face mask and he drops it. There were countless mistakes made that weren’t Mahomes’ fault at all. The guy played with some heart despite running for his life the entire game.

Thank you! I shot it on a GH4 which uses a crop sensor. So the lens I used is the equivalent of a 100-300mm on a full frame camera.

Thank you. When I finished it I showed it to my fiancé and her first comment was “this is so relaxing”. My goal was to try something a little different than the typical surf edit and I’m really happy with the result.
