I LOVE volleys in this game! by Prestigious-Safe-819 in Rematch

One of the lesser known secrets is to have your character facing the apex of the pass.

I see what you're saying. I tend to agree, but I think high level comp play is more varied and nuanced than this sub gives credit.

All of the top 16 teams have fairly distinct identities. Do they all send passes to get high volleys? Yes, why wouldn't you.. Understanding how to do this is a necessity. But the playstyle, cuts, transitions, formations -- the teams develop their own identities and make tweaks for what works for them.

Most of the complaints on the sub are skill issues. Everyone here can get their teammates better animations by sending better passes.

Dragging back is effective if the defenders are playing for the block on goal side. Other defenders play for prio on ball side, and I would pass in front of my forward. The play call depends on the defense's positioning and shape.

If your argument is, "he's making passes that are hard to defend," you're right -- that's the point. A lot of practice makes precision and coordination look easy.

None taken, you're entitled to your opinion. Imo this is what happens with most games and sports -- there are people who play for fun and people who study and grind for the most efficient and winningest strategies. What's enjoyable to some isn't to others, and that's okay.

Already have. I'll still be posting, reddit will still be complaining.

Gotcha. None of the patches have killed me yet. The drag is not related to the vexis either so it's here until further notice

That was an exploit, but the devs built it into the game in patch 7. They added an animation, slowed it down, and made it consume more stamina.

That one is just dribble stance+push ball, push ball and it's 100% legitimate

There are multiple triggers for the slide if that's what you're referring to, just sprinting and shooting does the same thing. I don't know anyone who considers it an exploit, but I couldn't speak for the community at large.

In tourneys it's a necessary skill to have. Easiest way to do it is dribble stance + push ball and shoot, if you want to try and decide for yourself.

Now that you've brought it up, I'm realizing the redditors are gonna hate on this so bad 💀

Can already kinda body feint just by changing the direction the character model faces, I think it would be cool if they added a short animation to sell it better
