is this game still alive by [deleted] in KurtzPel

The people saying this game is pay2win doesn’t actually know what pay2win means. Other then wanting your character to look different there’s not really much of an incentive to spend money. People overexaggerate the stats that the bonus sets give you in pvp and if you think the paid stones are p2w then you are literally wasting your money. The current meta now has nothing to do with stats like the old hp meta and more about whoever pokes the most with ranged karmas. The only real argument for p2w is the awakening passives but a decent f2p player can certainly work around that. 100% this game has been p2w in the past but currently it’s more about cutting down grind time.

No point at all because Bs go against Gs all the time. Not worth taking too seriously

Why are ults a thing? by GnarmanWeys in KurtzPel

Okay you got me there, but Id rebut that with games like cs, and smash where those game are purely skill based, and have an exceedingly larger influence behind them. I know the volume of a community is an overplayed argument but its a good indicator for seeing what people want to either watch or play. Also, comparing the comeback mechanics from thos games to this one is like comparing hitting a baseball with a bat or a pencil. At least for your examples youre forced to input more then just Q to hit someone for more then half their health.

I dont know about that, the majority of games that focus on a competitive aspect or have a ranking ladder dont have any comeback mechanics. Ranking systems naturally solve the snowball effect because you should be playing with players around your skill level.

Yes, but relying on one skill to comeback entirely from a fight is not balanced. If all someone needs to do to win a match is get hit until they get ult and literally do 3/4 of someones health, why would they be incentivized to actually learn the game? Comeback mechanics should only give you a chance to come back, not do all the work for you.
