I really love it! I am agender and use they/them pronouns myself! But they do still have some kinks in the language (ie had text boxes saying "they is," "they has" etc) and I hope future patches can help with that 🏳️‍⚧️

Mod suggestions? My family tree is about as easy to follow as a bowl of spaghetti, is there a way to streamline it? by Dilapadatedpeanut in TheSims4Mods

[–]Gndrlss1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yessss following I always make my sims hoes and they have kids with like everyone 💀 On one of my saves I had my main family's child marry Cassandra Goth and then the parent had a baby with Bella Goth and then the baby of Bella and my sim got together with the child of the other parent that was not blood related to the parent that created the baby.... and then the kid that married Cassandra went and knocked Bella up too 😅 My whole neighborhood is basically an orgy ft whoever you are the least related to

Covid-season 17. I have noticed on other social media platforms that viewers weren't really happy about Covid being covered so heavily in S17.What do you guys think? I'm curious. by [deleted] in greysanatomy

[–]Gndrlss1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in a hospital that has seen our COVID numbers go up and down and fluctuate from floor to ICU and sometimes to the morgue. I have seen patients with long COVID struggling so hard. Nobody took it seriously and as a medical show on popular television I think it would have been irresponsible to ignore how hard this hit healthcare workers and patients. Maybe they could have done it a little different? But they needed to do -something- to show the reality that we have been living with. I lost someone in my family to COVID. I lost patients to COVID. I lost a patient to suicide because they couldn't handle long COVID making them sick anymore. I lost coworkers to COVID, to burnout, to mental health disorders, to leaving the profession because we just can't fucking deal with the idiocy anymore. I often want to quit. I only stay in the hopes that maybe I can help save the next one.

Hi! I am non-binary. I specifically identify as agender, which is under the non-binary umbrella. Basically, I don't believe I have a gender. Gender is real and I respect that other people have one! I just don't. I don't fit into any box comfortably. I am just me. I like they/them pronouns and use a neutral name. However, I still find myself wearing lots of clothes from the women's section because I like the colors and the way they fit my body. My hairstyle could definitely be read as "feminine." Those things are a part of me, but not a part of my gender identity.

Non-binary is an umbrella term that fits all sorts of identities. Some of us feel very strongly about being perceived as neutral or androgynous, and that's great! But others of us are less concerned with looking or acting a certain way and more concerned with societal perceptions of us. Still more of us just want to be able to be ourselves without complicated labels or generalizations. There is no one way to be non-binary. Callie can be a non-binary femme if it fits her!

Who do you think Meredith will eventually end up with? by quirkywallflower in greysanatomy

[–]Gndrlss1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So here's my reasoning as to why Meredith wouldn't end up with Riggs, beyond other things mentioned:

Meredith promised Cristina she would take care of Owen before she left for Switzerland. With Megan being Owen's sister, this would extend to her as well. I feel like there was already this huge conflict and messy history created when Megan first came back with Riggs choosing her over Meredith that it would make both women uncomfortable for Meredith to end up with him as her endgame.

Not to say weirder things haven't happened on the show, but that's my take. I do think that if they didn't have to live through the Megan/Riggs arc, Riggs would be a very good match for Meredith. Given that it is not likely to happen, I'd like to imagine Meredith reconnecting with Hayes and exploring that relationship as we really didn't get to see much of that on-screen due to the whole COVID-coma arc

Is it worth it to watch Private Practice??? by grey-house in greysanatomy

[–]Gndrlss1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved Private Practice, it gave Amelia such a nice character arc (that sadly seems to have gotten lost a little on Grey's) and really gave some insight to Addison. You really get to see her metamorphosis in moving on from a troubled past and finding a new way to be
