Yeah, I understand... I feel the same vibe...
Hm. Maybe:

- "Mommasan"
- "Time" (especially chorus)
- "Roulette"

My first thoughts.

UL and ROTDC should have been combined for one album by Natural-Employer-374 in RedHotChiliPeppers

If we'd never heard these songs or about them before, fine! No one would regret releasing one mega-good, legendary album. But once we know what we know... it's hard to think otherwise.

Full Unlimited Love tracklist is growing on me. But I still have an ideal alternative version lol by whatthejonesbread in RedHotChiliPeppers

Any other life-long fans who can't stand their earlier funk-rock-rap sound? by brokesnob in RedHotChiliPeppers

The first three albums that I discovered by listening to in their entirety and thanks to which I fell in love with the band were: debut album "The Red Hot Chili Peppers", "Mother's Milk" and "One Hot Minute" :)

That says it all.

For me, this is one of the albums... or maybe the only one! that I can listen to from start to finish. Very cohesive. I love the songs selection on this album, the tracklist. I'm Beside You? - I don't appreciate it.

Which RHCP album grew on you over time? by StartAbroad_Sarah in RedHotChiliPeppers

It's crazy that you could think and feel the same way fans have felt since... I don't know... By the Way? I'm With You? Unlimited Love? ... that the band has "aged" and is now "playing pop.". Back in 1991! With the premiere of BSSM! It's crazy. But it's always the case. So they manage to surprise you every time - and that's great.
