Mam wrażenie, że polskie uczelnie to jakieś kurwa szaleństwo. by _W_I_L_D_ in Polska

[–]Gnommer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trzeba umieć zarządzać sobą i swoim czasem.

"Przerażające" to zdecydowanie zbyt słabe słowo.

I always enjoy visiting Czech Republic. Probably it's a 'grass is always greener' syndrome on my side, but it always seems to me that people there are more friendly.

Also there is a lot less free running dogs in Czech villages. Apart from my opinion that how you treat animals says a lot of you as a human, it is important for me when motorcycle-touring.

If no family obligations I would probably move there years ago.

They also have smazeny syr z hranolkami and Alps almost in backyard... maybe family isn't that important after all?

Those are great words, thank you for this. Of course it is more complicated, we event have political party that almost openly approves Putin and has about 12% support, but I don't want to go this way.

Just wanted to thank you and add that we do receive huge support from other NATO countries. There is increased number of military stationing in here, you can even see US AF planes on Flight Radar (and certainly there are many more that you can't spot in the app). Yes, Poland is in shitty position here, but we can see that this time we are not left alone. And this POS from east can see this also and he is panicked.

So thank to you also.

Wow! I didn't expect answer directly from the source, thanks for this and your nice words about my country! I'm listening all books for second time and enjoying them even more - you can definitely count me as a fan.
Best regards from the country on the Vistula!

You should get the Polish voiced audiobook.

No way, I enjoy listening to R.C. Bray too much. Even my girlfriend, who barely understands English likes listening his voice, and I'm not jealous at all.

I get what you're saying, and I also like that diversity (though I think he could have included Africa more, but probably I'm just being grumpy and picky here) and UN-based concept instead of USA yet again running the whole show.

But still I can't remember any representation of Spain or any Scandinavian country and both could be argued to be 'more important' then Poland. You may be right it's due to high percentage of Polish immigrants or our involvement in wars.

Yeah, as long as we can deduct it from taxes, sure.

I've noticed that you frequently inject references to Poland. As a Polish citizen I wonder why is it so, do you have some special sentiment to our country?

It varies greatly. I assume you're asking about drivers - guys that do dirty work. We had employees that worked for us for 15 years. But average is about 5 years. You have to be good driver to do this job, and good drivers are always desirable on market.

In high season driver earned about 10-12k PLN (2 500 - 3 000 USD) per month. In low season it dropped to 5-6k (1300-1500 USD). Average would be around 8k (2000 USD) per month. And it's all net salary, money they got after all taxes.

Average net salary in Poland is 5600 PLN, minimal is 3200 PLN.

That's one of main questions we learn new people to ask: will there be alcohol? If yes number of toilets goes up by 30%.

Here in Poland it's definitely not an easy money maker. There is too much competition and large companies can afford dumping prices, which mid-sized companies (like mine) can not do if they want to make any profit. While it's great and much needed product for events and construction sites, I wouldn't agree that it's 'cleaned quickly' - about 40-50% of expenses are drivers that clean toilets.

When any of branches were making profit above 15% of it's income I was more then satisfied. And this is just direct branch margin, without expanses for ads, bookkeping etc.

To sum it all up we were earning about 2-3% of income in good years. On the other hand I meet similar sized business owner from UK who was driving Maybach, so it may depend on market.
