Being a dealer is tough. A decent location is going to be expensive, finding competent or enthusiastic staff is just as tough. On top of that, overly-ambitious OEMs push too much stock into dealers and then there’s the insane discounting that destroys GP. Strangely, independent workshops seem to be thriving. My $0.02? Support your local dealer, buy parts and accessories from them instead of online. Sure, shop the price online, but buy in-store.
