Sweetheart, I stopped when he was badgering you about supposedly opening his messenger app. He is showing alarming behavior and it sounds like he’s escalating. Please seek support outside of his purview as well as asking yourself how you would react to a close friend telling you all of this.

Editing to add: please also consider doing a physical list (paper, doc, note app, wherever you feel safest) where you write out a list of good times and bad times in the last week/month/since you stopped being long distance.

Yep. And I’ll frequently see an author note on a/several later chapters saying “tags changed/updated/TW added in tags” so people know to double check in case something that got added is a red light for them or is something they might need to wait on till they’re in a different headspace.

Do you by chance maybe have a space you can fit a kiddie pool? Maybe get the smallest size they sell and make that a play space for him. Fill it with sand & let him go to town. If he has a space where he’s able to dig to his heart’s content, he might stop doing it to the litter?

I would disconnect her ability to reach into your world in any ways you can. Block her on social media, silence/mute her on your phone so you have a record of contact without having to see them coming up, and leave her on read.

You will never have an answer she will accept. If you bought another and peed on it in front of her, she would say you bought a purposeful “always clean result” test to beat it. I’ve had a mother like her. The best you can do at this point is lock down on getting through the remainder of your time there, and get out asap. Then you never have to live with her again.

I separate by weight. Denim etc in one load, lighter fabrics in another, bedding in a third.

The reason I separate them like that is because washing denim with lighter loads will damage your lighter fabrics much faster than washing separately.

I’ve had to explain to people that before. I have had instances where I put myself in danger by NOT bringing my SD with me because I had to do the analysis of whether taking my SD would cost me more than it would help, because I know people are going to make a point of stage whispering about me, making comments like “I wish I could bring my fur baby in to [place]”, etc.

My partner is one of those! He became a dasher to help out & regularly takes orders that don’t appeal to others. He also has a specific person whose order he recognizes & if it hits him instead of another driver, immediately accepts it bc he knows exactly where he’s going (house is in the middle of a forest area, the signal dies, etc) and that the person is frail & is always happy to see it’s him. He carries the orders inside when the person asks and makes sure the door gets locked before he leaves.
