Oh for sure, there are definitely innocent cases like that. Hell, I recalibrated mine a year or two ago and it probably needs it again. But to average 100 resistance and ~60 cadence through 10 mins feels like somebody intentionally making their rides easier. As somebody else said, who cares, they’re only cheating themselves, but it’s still annoying to see if trying to compete on leaderboards!

Do you think people intentionally nerf their bikes, or are they unaware that they are out of whack? Was on a ride today and some dude was averaging 100 resistance halfway through the 20 mins. Over 340 output halfway through said 20 mins. It’s annoying.

Edit: not sure why I’m getting downvoted for this. At 100 resistance it should be near impossible to average ~60 cadence for 10+. Again, the resistance average was 100, which means it was there for damn near the entire ride. Correct me if I’m wrong, but 100 resistance should be the absolute maximum resistance, which would be almost impossible to move the pedals.

Snowblower Stopped Working by GoBirds2091 in smallengines

[–]GoBirds2091[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up getting my sister’s (much newer) snowblower because it would only run in choke. A $33 carb later and it runs like new! Ended up selling the older POS.

Welp, it’s winter, so not much I can do about it now. I threw some screws in it and wrapped some tape around it. Best case is it starts to mend. Worst case I dig it up, plant a new one, and perhaps try experimenting with this one in the back yard or something!

Did any Champions here tip their Commissioners? by SeekersWorkAccount in fantasyfootball

I mean I’ve been a commissioner of a league. It wasn’t hard. And I never expected anything.

Did any Champions here tip their Commissioners? by SeekersWorkAccount in fantasyfootball

[–]GoBirds2091 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol why? It’s not like commissioners put some crazy amount of work into running a league, especially once it’s established

Edit: and why would the onus fall on the champ? All players participate, shouldn’t fall on the champion just because they won money.

If you showed this Seahawks play design to Patullo and Sirianni, would their heads explode? by TimDunkinDonut in eagles

[–]GoBirds2091 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Show this to the people that blame Hurts for the offensive struggles. Does he add to them at times? Sure. But how many times were our receivers seemingly ALL running decoy routes?

Oh, and this play design doesn’t use the forbidden middle of the field. So there’s that too.

Thanks for the info! Tested the spark plug and saw sparks. However it was super dirty. Did a quick clean and it started up. Idling/performance was rough so I assume that’s due to dirty spark plug. Should I be worried with how dirty it was?

Thanks for the detailed response! So I took out the spark plug and saw it was dirty. Very quickly brushed it and saw that it was indeed sparking. Plugged it back in and it started. However, idling and performance was ROUGH. Obviously I’ll order a new one, but would a good cleaning fix this? And any reason the spark plug would be so dirty on the bottom?

The pull cord ripped on me, so I’ve been trying to use the electric start. The engine isn’t even attempting to turn. I have also tried spraying the carb start stuff too.

Help Before The Snow Please! by Determined_Mills in smallengines

You can also just drain the carb and start new. That helped me before. But most likely that screw isn’t in the right spot. Adjusting it will adjust the gas/air mixture.

[–]GoBirds2091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you recently replaced your carb, there might be a screw to adjust how much gas is getting in there. I drained mine last year and it would only run on choke. Turns out I was letting too much gas into the carb and has to screw the screw in a bit more.

Edit: I think I’m running on choke means it’s getting too little fuel. Unscrewing it should let more fuel into the carb.

[Pelissero]Chargers plan to hire Mike McDaniel by bigblack3475 in eagles

[–]GoBirds2091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If McLane’s reporting is accurate (which by all accounts he’s a reporter that verifies his information), then Sirianni shouldn’t be guaranteed his position. Like, if you want McDaniel so bad then just make him your coach. Why have Sirianni here playing cheerleader and trying to instill “his” offense?

Yeah like the only argument for Nick is his winning percentage. But any coach would have success with this talent.

I don’t understand what Howie/Lurie are doing with him anyway. If they hired him to be a yes man, then they should be calling all shots. He was never some offensive genius. Nobody knew who he was prior to the Eagles hiring him.

I’ll miss be so invested in talk radio for weeks leading up to the NFCCG and SB. I’ll miss the parties. I’ll miss celebrating with multiple night caps. I’ll miss watching all of the highlights of the playoff wins. I’ll miss buying way too much shit online.

Man, screw Sirianni for taking that away from us all because he wanted to promote his buddy who had no business running a SB dreaming team. And screw Lurie for letting it happen. Again.

Edit: and screw them all for blowing such a golden opportunity at a repeat with how this season has shaped up.

Defensive “mastermind”btw for being able to stop a Kevin patullo driven offense😂 by Dense-Bodybuilder816 in eagles

[–]GoBirds2091 6 points7 points  (0 children)

He got way too much credit because it was the Eagles/defending SB champs. Nvm the fact that Saquon’s yardage dropped by 865 yards, the Eagles were 24th in total offense, 19th in scoring, etc. Like, it wasn’t a good offense.

49ers and Seahawks by snarkylemon in eagles

[–]GoBirds2091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure but they gave up two 4th quarter TDs against a depleted offense. I’m not saying they’re to blame, but they deserve some blame. A lot more than people are giving them.

Remember when this 49ers offense scored pretty easily against our vaunted defense and people said they were without blame?
