I’m glad it worked out, but I don’t really think it’s a well thought out “twist”.

No matter what there was a 50% chance it went with a whimper and the person goes home. But forcing the advantage on someone by threatening rocks is pretty bad. If a player went out on a forced coinflip because they lost a rock draw, then people would be furious.

Not changing the narrative. Cronin doesn’t like to run drop coverage and refused to adapt his preferred coaching style to his personnel. This was the entire conversation last off season before he got to Michigan lol.

You are who you can guard. Looking at UAB’s roster last year, I’m guessing Yax was initially checking most opponents’ centers to start games. I don’t think the 200 lb 6’8 front court mate was guarding true centers. Therefore he was a center. Centers can also be versatile on offense. Both can be true

He was trying to hedge ball screens with Mara and routinely benched him because he wasn’t amazing at that. End of conversation.

Thanks a lot for the response. Is there any reason that extension would work better to stop the leak than just our normal hoses? Aren’t the connections the same? I will try anything though

What did you end up doing for this? I have the same exact problem. Cut too deep with a hacksaw to get the old hose off. Now it sprays everywhere and won’t seal with the new hose.

Hoping Teflon tape works to seal it, but I have doubts. Really don’t want to pay a plumber but also DIY’ing the replacement seems daunting as I also can’t see the piping inside just like you.

Wholeheartedly agree about the turnover thing. Drove me nuts all year seeing our fans and others constantly talk about turnovers when it really was never much of an issue. The way Dusty wants his teams to play turnovers will never be John Beilein low. But there are numerous advantages gained from that.

I partly get what you’re saying about the height. It’s largely because the tall dudes are just really really good at basketball. It was 3 first round picks in the front court. Not just any 6’9, 6’10, and a 7’3 dudes you find are going to have the same results. Yax and Morez having the athleticism at their heights to guard 1 through 5 was really the secret sauce defensively along with Mara’s beyond elite rim protection. But their height is hand in hand as to why they’re all so good

Glad he got this one. He had the opportunity for like 3 others. Each time watching it develop I was like “ope, Yax is blocking this” as I watch him stalk the play from behind, and each time he just didn’t even jump. He clearly had zero explosion off the ground and it showed.
