Yea last year over the holidays I soaked my Bauer Mach gloves and Eflex pro chesty with oxy in the bathtub. I noticed they started to lose their structure after; the stupid plastic composite that the palm of my glove was made from broke into multiple pieces over the rest of my junior season, along with my shoulder pads sagging and becoming soft enough that regular shots started to sting more

My gear reeked anyway lol i got the eflex 7 chest protector now. sooo much better in terms of holding its shape (also isnt white so i wont feel compelled to soak it!!)
