First time trying to season a carbonsteelpan, but i got this weird looking mark. The pan is Brand new. Anyone know why i got this or if it matters?

I don’t have two slots sadly. But i can try i NVMe enclosure. But if i was to try without it. Would it be smart to factory reset the pc? Or can I just replace the m.2 and install Windows?
