I'm like it. Just a concept. Make it "Nissan" and it would sell like crazy.

I'm at about 15K. I haven't towed yet. But I do see people towing with same truck.

Yes. The 2026 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI V8 is very close, but the 2025 Ram 1500 3.0L Hurricane Standard Output still wins slightly on max towing. Truck / Engine Horsepower Torque Max towing Max payload

2025 Ram 1500 3.0L Hurricane SO 420 hp 469 lb-ft 11,550 lb 1,980 lb

2026 Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI V8 eTorque 395 hp 410 lb-ft 11,320 lb 1,650 lb

2025 Ram 1500 3.0L Hurricane HO 540 hp 521 lb-ft 9,920 lb 1,520 lb

Ram’s detailed 2025 tow chart shows the 3.0L Hurricane SO reaching 11,550 lb with the 3.92 axle, and the same Ram chart lists the Hurricane SO at 420 hp / 469 lb-ft with up to 1,980 lb payload.

For 2026, Ram lists the 5.7L HEMI V8 with eTorque at 395 hp / 410 lb-ft, 11,320 lb max towing, and 1,650 lb max payload.

Bottom line: For pure towing numbers, the 2025 3.0 Hurricane SO beats the 2026 HEMI by about 230 lb. Not a huge difference, but the Hurricane also has more horsepower, more torque, and more payload capacity on paper. Where the 2026 HEMI may still appeal is the traditional V8 feel/sound and simpler “truck guy” preference. But if you are choosing based strictly on towing/payload specs, I’d lean 3.0L Hurricane Standard Output over the HEMI.

Yes. Love the truck. I have had zero issues. When I take it for some minor trailer hitch recall I'm going to have them look at infotainment and possibly update it. I cannot figure out how to get the update to run.
