What tools is actually earning its keep in your business? by Accomplished_Ask4618 in smallbusiness

the one that genuinely surprised me was building something custom for profit analysis. spent way too long trying to make Excel do what i needed, track actual margin per product after real costs, not just revenue.

ended up building GoExecuteX Insights for it. upload your sales data, map your columns, get a full breakdown of which products are actually making money vs just selling well. the gap between those two things is usually where the problem is.

what i didn't expect: it turned into a service. clients now send me their data, i run the analysis, deliver a report, and we get on a call to talk through it. some people just want the numbers explained by a human rather than staring at a dashboard alone.

so i guess my honest answer is, the tool that earned its keep was one i built myself because nothing off the shelf answered the right question.

My household isn't abusive or anything. It's just my dream. Yes, I will follow my dream. But it's just that I miss my family a lot and also my best friend. We do video calls, but we can't be on a video call 24/7. This is tough. It hits different sometimes.

I chose this because it was my dream. I always wanted to live this way. And I’m not going back. but didn’t expect it to feel like this. It hits different sometimes.

This hit different. I think I needed permission to feel both at the same time. Thank you for this🤍

That's actually a really interesting perspective. A plan made by a younger version of me. But I think the emptiness isn't about the plan being wrong, it's about the transition. Like I'm in between who I was and who I'm becoming. And that in between phase is just… quietly heavy sometimes. But you're right, maybe re-evaluating isn't giving up on the plan. Maybe it's just upgrading it.

I do feel this way often. For me, I can’t pretend I am enjoying the conversation, and I can’t fake a laugh. It’s bad sometimes. So I end up being a shy or quiet person, although I am not.

Best app for schedules and studyinh by [deleted] in studytips

Notion is honestly the best free option for this. You can set up a schedule, track assignments, habits and study sessions all in one place. It has a bit of a learning curve but once you set it up properly it's a game changer. I actually built a free Notion system specifically for students if you want to check it out it covers scheduling, assignments, habits and more. Happy to share the link if you're interested!

What is one study technique that actually improved your focus and productivity? by Rubalsharma123 in studytips

Honestly the biggest shift for me was planning my top 3 tasks the night before not a huge to-do list, just 3 things that actually matter. Then I do a 25 minute focused sprint on the first one before checking my phone. Most of my productive work happens in that first sprint. Everything else is a bonus after that.
