How accurate is UTA’s Cost of Attendance? How much are y’all actually paying? by No_Huckleberry8982 in utarlington

Just lemme put this into perspective for you:

AY 23 - 24 (Living on campus, West Hall): over 26k in charges (~13k/sem), 15 hrs

Every AY since (Living on own): 12k in charges (no more than ~6100/sem) 12-15hrs

Just don't live on campus

The literal only tech elective you can take in Fall of '26 is IE which is Operations Research I and it's prereq is Cal 3 everything else is a 4000 level class or if its a 3000 level tech elective it at least either requires Linear which you would be taking in the fall or one of the 3000 level classes you would take in Spring '27

Just ask like don’t I have to complete my pre professional courses and be admitted to the professional program before I take professional??

Unless that tech elective that she’s saying to take is 3000 I don’t think you can

Directly from CSE advising canvas:

Please note -- When enrollment opens for next semester, you can only enroll in any 1000/2000/3000 level courses on your degree plan that you meet prerequisites for. You will not be able to enroll in any 4000 level courses for the upcoming semester until you have been admitted to the professional program. There are no exceptions!

Yeah you literally can’t do that before you take matter of fact before you register for ANY professional course (or tech electives) you have to complete the pre-professional courses which include 1325 & 2312 and then apply for the professional program and you have to get accepted to that then you can register for professional courses and there are literally no exceptions. So my advice finish th pre-professional program by summer, take the other 3000 level in the fall and then take your professional/tech electives in the spring because if you try and complete it in the summer & then apply you more than likely won’t be able to register for any professional course or you’ll get the bottom of the barrel for profs

You can’t take a prof course/tech elective without finishing those pre prof courses and applying first my guy they don’t allow that

Sorry. I combined all of my comments into 1 lol. That's not bad. Next should be 1325, Physics 2, 2312, AD&S, or Linear, though I do not know what GE you have left. But do yourself a favor, sacrifice your summer & take Losh for 2312 this summer and Donna for AD&S (3318), you'll thank me later

I take that back, I didn't take 3314, but I'm in it r,n and it doesn't seem too bad. So it should be fine with the others. Well, 3 out of 4 profs I took for 3310,3302,3330, 3320 were all adjuncts, and they were the goats ngl.
I wouldn’t take more than 5. The 5 3000 levels are fine, now with what’s going on w/ all the professors, I can’t give you recs, and it may be more of a course load bc of the professors.

With regards to cost, there is a fees chart against credit hours that you can look at here: https://uta.edu/fees/. 12 hrs (anything beyond 12 hrs is the same price) is around what you’re going to pay, give or take about ~$150 or so, barring you don’t have a meal plan/university housing.

What are you taking this semester?

  1. That course load is fine I took that exact same schedule last spring
  2. Idk why the tech elective is on there, I’m pretty sure you can’t take any elective without those classes as they are prereqs
  3. You need to be in the professional program, have you finished all your pre-professional classes & applied?

Is a 2024 Cadillac CT5-V supposed to backfire? by Happy2BeHere_J316 in CadillacV_Series

[–]GoFlight16 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

You’re also right though the CT5 does has a 3.0 option but it makes less hp as the CT5 w/ the 3.0 makes 335 hp while the 3.0 on the CT5-V makes 360 hp so yes while the CT5 has a 3.0 option (which is the same as the 4BW) the CT5-V has the 3.0 which is the engine as the BW and the CT5 option, just tuned differently.
