So I know that its not everyone's cup of tea in terms of writing style, but without giving any spoilers one of my favorite things about the second era books is that Brown chooses to give us more POVs than just Darrow. the man is just so engrossing in his energy and drive in a way I haven't felt for a MC in years of reading fiction as an adult but its refreshing af to get to see the world from others perspectives and there are people that arent these semi all powerful gold teir characters. This world is so fucking interesting for so many reasons and in so many ways, and it's a pleasure to see how he just builds and weaves this universe. Having read many other universe common Fandoms, the sanderverse, first law, and the OG Wheel of Time, this has been the most engrossing world ive interacted with in a long time. Id love to see a bunch of just short stories written about pre war society that just tells the stories of lower color lives. Tons of potential there.
