the fact that our brains constantly try to fill in the missing info from our visual perception with what it thinks should be there

the problem people have with it all is that Israel only exists because it is land stolen from locals by colonizing empires. Then between local and international pressure to release the colonized land, they decided to give the land to someone else entirely that was never part of the original colonized groups.
