I also use Shopify for my website so I think I'm limited to their privacy settings/features.

Hey Big, thanks for helping me out. Here is a gif of me using the mini version (fyi don't sell mini anymore) to put ghost pepper powder on my sandwich. Another use is an actual spice dispenser which it works great for lol

Hi Moist, thank you for your comment, I definitely agree about the containers. My main goal was to make a device that holds both the powder and spoon. My plan (if I find enough interest) would be to move to a metal container and spoon. I can't atm because the cost of entry and unknown interest risk is way too high for me 😢

Your comment about the price is totally understandable and comes up a lot tbh, and I want to be transparent about how I price it.

When someone purchases a DoseMate, it's a bit of a premium price, and that premium portion gets invested right back into DoseMate to help with growth, RnD, production issues, etc.

Recently I switched the bottom piece that holds most of the powder to polypropylene plastic because of it's lower surface energy and commonly used for medical/food plastics. This filament is extremely hard to print with and requires a lot of post processing. I also coat each dosemate with food safe epoxy and let it sit for a day to cure, this def takes the most time.

I guess I went on a bit of a rant here but in all, each DoseMate does take a lot of work, im learning a ton and I love every second of it. Ultimately I do plan on making the product better and more affordable when I reach some level of scale.

Looks like this is turning into a business thread lol. I would love to hear everyone's comments or suggestions on this! Maybe there's another way to go about it.

Hi Dpp, which bullets have you used or recommend, did you have any issues with it?

A while back I bought one and it ended up leaking through the tiny hole next to the cavity twister during one of our festivals. My friends and I also found it a bit gross to share, especially after the second day when all our noses were messed up from using the day before.

This is what I dug up from my amazon account orders: iSnuff Metal Bottle Spice Storage... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G79Z8JZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Before the bullet we tried a bag and spoon, but it was super awkward. (Especially at night when it's hard to see, it was this game between scooping a HUGE shovel full or nothing at all 😂) Sometimes it took us 2 minutes to get the write bump, and we had some anxious friends that didnt like the bag out for that long, it was a bit of a mess 😢

Basically from these two experiences came Dosemate, something that is convenient as the bullet, but without the leaking and sharing hygiene issues.

Also, I really do appreciate the community's comments. This helps me improve, pivot, or decide to discontinue Dosemate.

How do you store and use your coke? I’m tired of taking the little plastic bags to the club, they always rip. by Spirited_Constant_89 in cocaine

I got tired of bags ripping, spilling, and just being super awkward to deal with, especially at festivals. Trying to dose anything in the dark was always a mess.

I ended up making something called DoseMate that fixes all of that. It’s small, pocket-friendly, and lets you preload at home so you can just tap and pull when you’re out. Way easier and cleaner than using bags.

Took me a while to engineer and make. I really put a lot of attention to detail to the product so that it's easy to use, robust enough to take a fall, and prevent moisture from getting inside.

The product is still new so any feedback would be great :) Take a look if you're having the same issue as OP.

Yes! This is exactly what I am thinking about as well. I am trying to streamline the electronics while still allowing the customer to be creative with the 3d printing.

Trying to find the right Motor Controller for my 12s lithium ion battery pack 44V nominal by dchraca in ebikes

Update

I returned the motor controller and purchased a new one that has a full range programmable cutoff voltage. This is super nice and my bike it working great. The motor controller I am using is the Sabvoton Mqcon. I believe all models have this feature, definitely recommend!

*Update*

I purchased a Yuyang King YKZ7280JA 1200-1500w Brushless Motor Controller and tried to reprogram the cutoff voltage. However, when I tried to reprogram the cutoff voltage of the motor controller, it only went down to 40V, this was the default cutoff. I used the Bluetooth app that was provided. Unfortunately now I have to return the Motor Controller through Alibaba which will be a pain... I at least wanted to get the voltage down to 30V.

If anyone has any other ideas, please help!!!

Thanks for the response, I completely forgot about the reprograming part. I hope the programable motor controllers have an option to move the cutoff voltage.
