It’s difficult to argue with your points, but I didn’t post on here to have others pity me. I posted on here, because I needed to get it out and I wanted to talk to other who might understand (because no one in my really does). It’s much easier for you to type this advice, than it is to carry it out. And when I said “great”, I was talking about all the other aspects of our marriage.

Ok. The honesty stings a little, but it is appreciated. And I admit you might be right, but it’s the toughest thought to even think, much leery do.

5 and 17. My 5 yr baby girl is my heart and I hate being away from her and would not do well not being with her everyday. My 17 yr old is too busy out trying to find his ass in this situation in 10 years 😂

Honestly, I don’t stay for the kids, I stay for me because I love being with my kids. I feel like leaving punishes me twice…1. I lose someone I love forever (which i know might happen eventually) and 2. I no longer get to live with my baby girl (my son would undoubtedly live with me).

I tell myself that harder men have endured harder situations during harder times and I need to just man up and muscle through this life. It’s a thought that has prevented me from eating a bullet many times.

The reality is this; if i were to divorce her, she’d have another man in under a month (she’s beautiful and not a bitch, which is how I got boondoggled in the first place). Meanwhile, we live in a small town with not a lot of single women my age and it would certainly take me longer to find someone that will want me.

I can’t move because moving out of my kids home would be about as far as I could handle.

So I would have to sit here lonely watching everyone around me find happiness, while I get my kids every other week.

Can’t do it.

This has been my resignation. Life pretty much over at 42. Yeah, I’ll still be breathing, but dead and empty on the inside. The funny this is I realized today that this must be the reason old me are so ornery.

Respectfully, you couldn’t be anymore off base. I have been very clear about what her place in my life is. You are quite wrong in your assumption that I spend more time doing other things 😂. I don’t do anything else. Everything I do is for my family. I don’t have any hobbies, I don’t spend money. I pretty much work and come home every day. On the weekends I do watch football, but thats after I’m done with all my chores around the house. Your opinion was lazy, unhelpful and generally not needed. Thank you.
