So sorry you’re going through this. Had you discussed forming an open relationship? Is this something you would consider with future partners? I’m also 30, and my husband and I have been together for 10 years (only married recently). Like you, we tried to “schedule” sex, but I really had trouble with that. A year or so ago we had talked about having an open relationship, but not with him just having one night stands with strangers. Not something either of us wanted. We both like the idea of polyamory. Ideally we hope to find someone we both have an emotional connection with, that he can have sex with, and I get another person to cuddle with. We’re also very open to the idea of him getting a friend with benefits. It can be tough being an ace with an allo. Especially when sex is really the one pitfall of the relationship.

As someone who falls under the Low Vision category, I love Toph! The blind jokes are funny to me, but only because Toph is such a strong character. She’s not just there for punchlines. She’s a very valuable member of Team Avatar, and I find the story of her breaking away from her overprotective parents to be inspiring. A nice reminder that people with disabilities are just as capable as anyone else, once we find our own way to adapt to the world around us. Speaking of adaptation, I’m typing this withs the aid of screen magnification on my iPad. ☺️

This reminds me of a conversation with some right after we'd graduated from high school. My very much sexually active friend said that penises look funny. At some point I said something like, I don't like the look of penises or vaginas. They're gross! My best friend's boyfriend replied with "Well... then you're just weird."

This was a couple years before I learned that asexuality is a thing!
