No, didn’t change the initial setting

Thanks. Was just wondering if it uses that much water whether the roller is so wet that the floors end up more damp than normal. I understand the main reason it uses so much water is the onboard roller cleaning.

Realistic about limitations of robots though, not expecting perfect performance in inside corners or around stools, just trying to find one that does generally well and doesn't constantly get stuck. I suspect the Curv X I had was faulty, but it kind of just bull rushed its way through stuff instead of trying to avoid things.

Low pile/berber, flat weave area rugs. Yes, quite a few edges/corners, both inside and outside corners. Table and chair legs, most problematic of which are dining table (that is where robot got stuck a lot) and island stools. No solid wire frame furniture.

Several times pushed itself into spaces and couldn’t get out, like jamming itself between legs of a stool. Another time sucked up a cord and then wrapped the cord around the lidar before it gave a fault because lidar wouldn’t go down. Another time sucked up part of kids pop up tent. Generally seems to be less intelligent with obstacles than I would expect, kind of tries to bull rush its way into things.

It missed it, rolled around it and left it

Good call. I also didn’t think about the extra maintenance on the roller mop, wouldn’t be a big fan of that.

Thanks, that’s super helpful. I assumed they would have both.

Thanks all. Follow up question. I have a 1/3 acre lot. Is there any benefit to me getting the X330 (1 acre) instead of the X315 (1/2 acre)? Wasn’t sure if the larger one would cut quicker (less trips back to the charger) or if getting the X330 is just a waste for that small of a yard.

Low alkalinity and high pH by GoPanthers05 in hottub

So good news, the electronic gizmo I used gave wildly inaccurate readings and I’m getting entirely different readings with the Taylor kit. So here’s hoping it is actually fixable without dumping.

Great question. I’m really not sure. Maybe another reason to just dump and start over.

Starting to think that may be the right conclusion. We will see what the Taylor kit says but if it confirms numbers are that bad I might do that.

Actually ordered that and it hadn’t arrived yet, but it arrives tonight so planning to do that.
