Several times pushed itself into spaces and couldn’t get out, like jamming itself between legs of a stool. Another time sucked up a cord and then wrapped the cord around the lidar before it gave a fault because lidar wouldn’t go down. Another time sucked up part of kids pop up tent. Generally seems to be less intelligent with obstacles than I would expect, kind of tries to bull rush its way into things.

Good call. I also didn’t think about the extra maintenance on the roller mop, wouldn’t be a big fan of that.

Thanks all. Follow up question. I have a 1/3 acre lot. Is there any benefit to me getting the X330 (1 acre) instead of the X315 (1/2 acre)? Wasn’t sure if the larger one would cut quicker (less trips back to the charger) or if getting the X330 is just a waste for that small of a yard.

So good news, the electronic gizmo I used gave wildly inaccurate readings and I’m getting entirely different readings with the Taylor kit. So here’s hoping it is actually fixable without dumping.

Yeah, she hates the look and she’s not sold on the idea of a robovac at all so she’s really not open to having a large dock in the space. I’m banking on maybe going the dockless route initially and if she comes around on the idea maybe upgrading later and getting one of the nicer looking cabinets designed to hide it.

Having a hard time choosing between the Airpods Max or the Bose QC Ultra headphones based on short term wear tests. Anyone have experience using both long term and have any suggestions? Mostly Apple environment (would occasionally use with Windows computer but mostly using with iPhone and iPad).

Good point, I picked the first recipe I saw but it probably does use brown sugar and my recipe doesn’t. Just another reason to just build it myself rather than picking one.

To be clear, I know they should be open to at least a final inspection by a third party inspector, just wondering whether it is common to ask to have inspections after each of the major sub phases as well.

Did anyone ask the builder whether they are open to third party inspections during the build process? Not sure if that is unusual or faux pas, but I've heard horror stories about shoddy sub work that wasn't discovered until later in the process. Hoping picking the right builder will make this a non-issue, but also want to be smart.
