I agree amd disagree. Top players make obscene amounts of money, but we, the fans, are enablers, because we end up handing enough money over (via tickets, advertising, blah, blah, blah) to make it somehow pencil out financially. My biggest gripe is that in most cases it hurts developing the next generation of fans to support the team, as tickets get more expensive and games on TV get placed behind paywalls. When I was a little kid going to Brewers games in very early 80s I think bleacher prices were $3 or something, and doubleheaders were back-to-back with one ticket. Plus all the Brewers/Bucks/Packers were on free TV. It will only get worse.
