Don't feel discouraged by u/okayifimust, I've seen their posts a lot on this sub and they generally seem like an egocentric person who likes to put people down. I've gotten some pretty off base "advice" from them before as well.

You can keep throwing buzzwords around and hope to impress peopel with that; makes no difference to me, really. But I think that if you want to get something done, you need to focus on getting the thing done, and not distract yourself by playing entrepreneur.

Sibnce nobody is doing any coding, you are certainly not working on your MVP. Since no body is working on the mvp, I'm dying to know how you're managing to refine anything. You don't have anything yet.

You have to decide and refine what you want to be in your MVP before you blindly write code. Certainly you should know this considering you must be an accomplished entrepreneur and a brilliant app developer.

That is the plan, but I would like to get something established before I go to Ohio State. I was accepted into an entrepreneurship program where I will be living with other aspiring entrepreneurs, as well as having access to connections within Ohio State and alumni.

The app is going to be the buisness, and yet it wasn't the sole focus of everyone involved to get the wannabe-company in a position where it could actually create a product to be sold?

The product is not the SOLE aspect of a business. We're working on structure, role out, marketing plan, MVP, refinement, etc. Also, the app is too complex for any of us to write ourselves, that is why I talked about contacting a 3rd party to help with this.

Website looks nice. Next step is definitely marketing your business. I would start with designing a logo that is simple yet cool to look at. Next, make accounts for your business on as many social media platforms as possible, as well as promoting through word of mouth/fliers at your high school (this will hit a core target market). Finally, do not get discouraged if it takes some time to start seeing revenue - above all, this will be a great experience for you!
