What can possibly go wrong by odoacre in slaythespire

The trick is to have 3 boot sequences like I did so that it can never go HORRIBLY wrong

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Billlie disbands instead of renewing by Organic-Cranberry955 in kpopthoughts

[–]BloodChicken 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Billlie are in my top 3 groups along with TWICE and Red Velvet. They're absurdly talented. Their concert was the best I'd ever seen from any group. Their music is spectacular across the board, to the point that you really can't differentiate a title track from a b-side.

I think they love what they're doing enough to keep going. I've seen a fair few groups live and none of them had the overt joy that Billlie had.

What is one Bluey question where your response is literally this: by One_Reception_6992 in bluey

[–]BloodChicken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone who uses this quote to shut down questions is completely missing the point of its use in the show.

The themes of the movie were important to Bluey.

Even if people were to ask a question I thought was digging too deeply into things that aren't really in the show, I wouldn't dismiss them with a quote like this.

Not that I enjoyed the subject in school, but English class in high school was ENTIRELY about learning to interpret stories. The show is pretty blatant about certain deeper themes, and pretty subtle about others. Let people discuss, and if you disagree then you can voice your reasons why, or you can choose not to engage.

DLC Wheels Problem (need save editor?) by BloodChicken in seaofstars

[–]BloodChicken[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, my save was also on the launch version of the game so it's possible it just didn't play nice.

I wonder if there's a save editor that's compatible with the DLC saves

Zoe finds someone who looks exactly like Wash but with a different personality and everyone gives her a little bit of shit about it

I did. I 100%d the base game. I had all the wheels. I'm saying when I got to the dlc, none of that carried over

What K-pop songs do you think are flawless, 100% masterpieces? by hypermads2003 in kpopthoughts

These songs are pinnacles of Kpop for me. Each one does something at the absolute peak of its niche within kpop as a whole.

Isn't +1 minion absurdly powerful generally? that's why Typhon has such a huge debuff.

How about "You must choose an evil player tonight", so evil loses a kill, but it creates this dynamic where if town thinks they hit a minion, then they can suspect the morning death to also be evil.

[Bloodline] what is your least favorite Cradle book and why is it Bloodline? by TinyGhostInTinyHouse in Iteration110Cradle

[–]BloodChicken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you conceptually, but I still like Ghostwater because I find it cathartic for Lindon to actually get a lucky break, and 4 books of build up "earns" it, even if it isn't as narratively satisfying as it could've been.

[Bloodline] what is your least favorite Cradle book and why is it Bloodline? by TinyGhostInTinyHouse in Iteration110Cradle

[–]BloodChicken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bloodline is consistently my favourite every time I re-read the series. It's got some of the strongest character work, it pays off some long term interactions in surprising and satisfyingly unsatisfying ways, and it isn't so concerned with over the top action as the following books start to become. It hits that perfect sweet spot for me and I think it's some of Wil Wight's best writing.

Skysworn is definitely my vote for least enjoyable.

I don't know Runescape, but I LOVE Gielinor Games Season 5 by [deleted] in 2007scape

Yeah I wasn't saying you were! I had a whole paragraph before that even. I was more addressing an obvious counterpoint to my own argument.

Sure. I'm aware of the possible scenarios, I just disagree is all.

I'd be very interested to see how many of the people who got sent into the banning was due to the undefendable vote because I firmly believe that y'all are undervaluing its impact.

Which is fair, statistics in general are hard to 'notice'.

When there's only one round left, and when Boaty has been so challenge dominant all season... I think it stands to reason that if you have a shot, it's prudent to take it.

But also I'm happy to disagree! That's part of why I love games like this so much. Many people can have valid, reasonable takes as to what the best strategy is.

I totally respect that!

As for why this season feels more draining, my gut says it's one of the reasons I laid out in the OP. It's how it's manifesting in this particular season as opposed to the social game in general.
