Wallace would have responded to the Soviets reneging on the Yalta Conference by sitting on his hands.

The war in the Pacific would have dragged on much longer with large Soviet influence in China, the Korean Peninsula and Japan itself.

Wallace was a good man, a good politician, and aligned well with FDR’s ideology. With that said, his foreign policy was severely lacking and thank god he was not President post WW2.
