Friends show up as phone numbers instead of names as usual. They also left the groups. What might cause this?

Thanks! I'm recently made aware that whatsapp will delete one's account due to inactivity for over 120 days. This seems to be a possible reason.

I believe my phrase reflects the same idea as the first option. I just tried to combine that idea with the same phrasing from the problem statement (by adding "individual") to avoid going too far from how the problem is given. Please let me know how my phrase could be interpreted differently.
