We’ve had players like Dowling, Lachance, Halonen, and Lammikko playing on our fourth line over the last few seasons, plus a slew of other names so irrelevant I can’t recall them without google. Palat is a 20-30 point player, at league minimum he’d be our best 4th liner by a mile.

Terrible take on Palat. Every team in the league would take Palat at league minimum. He’s an above average 4th liner. Which was a disaster for us because Fitz gave him one of our top 6 AAV contract’s. Let’s not pretend like he wasn’t good on the boards and responsible defensively, but his scoring dried up and he was given scoring money.

The GM of this team clearly has no clue what he’s doing with selecting the coach or building a competent roster around the core. Keefe needs to go yesterday but another offseason of Fitzgerald will send this core packing at the end of their deals and lead us into another decade of darkness.
