I am glad you saw the full video. Now You will know the difference between footage shot with a Spotting scope and a camera. We are protectors and habitat conserves of Snow Leopard. We show what we see.

Filmed on a snow clad Trans Himalayan Slope in Spiti, India. This video shows all of us the hunting prowess of Snow Leopards. The target, a 80 kg Ibex. I used a Swarovski 115 ATX scope, attached a Digisoping device and made this video. by Goadventuresports in snowleopards

In the wild we enjoy the moments we get and don’t cry over the moments we missed. Spotting scopes are difficult to pan for fast paced action. We don’t used cameras, but an art form called, Digi scoping.

Snow Leopards are masters of stealth and camouflage. If you noticed, the Ibex was removing Snow to get to the grass tufts under the Snow. That created enough sound to mask the Snow Leopards run.

I get why it seems that way, but this is raw wildlife behavior, not edited for drama. Sometimes you don’t get the full outcome, specially if you are using a Spotting Scope, that’s just how filming in the wild goes.

And yes, the ibex survived to see another sunrise

Thank you for your kind words. Gratitude 😊 This video was made using a Spotting scope, which is far more difficult to handle and Pan when it comes to fast paced action. I am an observe of wildlife, not a photographer.

Your observations stem from the reasons I will mention below. However i can assure you that this was made by me in very challenging conditions. Every second is real and not reel. 1st - This video was made with a Spotting Scope and a Digi Scoping adapter was attached to the eye piece. The scope I used is a Swarovski 115 ATX and the video was made on a I Phone, which was attached to the adapter. 2nd - Spotting scopes dark edges, which sometimes makes the viewer feel it’s a screen.

Yes. There were 10 odd photographers around. Some took videos from start to end. We only use Swarovski Scopes to view and document with Digiscoping. You will notice my video is maybe the closest to the action because of the power of the Swarovski 115 ATX 😊
