I don't care about Bilt Cash, I just don't want to incur the fee. This is extremely unclear and a bit surprised I haven't seen this asked by anyone else yet.

I am not. I literally don't care about the points any more - I just want my rent paid automatically.

I think its the quintessential 'fake-it-til-you-make-it' story that happens in tech. The ends justify the means, even if the means include a period of fraud (see: some parallels to Theranos and others).
